Make sure the actually weld in patch pieces and don't just use body filler.

Sounds like BS to me. There is fiber reinforced filler that is commonly used on high wear areas (cab corners, rocker panels), but there is no reason to make a body filler out of carbon fiber. Like I said, make sure they use patch panels, and more importantly make sure they are up front with you. Don't be afraid to ask to see the products they use, and ask about their processes. If you don't feel comfortable, take your business somewhere else.

And more important thing..make sure theres a warranty and that u have paper work of the repair and take pictures before leaving the body shop. Hopefully its a well known shop and not just joe schmo that could be gone tomorrow. Make sure to take pictures just in case.

I haven't let somebody else touch my car in the two years that I have owned it except for an alignment and tires. And in the five years that I have owned cars that alignment was the first time anybody else had ever worked on my car.

But there are quite a few shops out here. Problem is that the good ones are the big ones with the good insurance jobs taking up most of their time and finding one that is willing to do it cheap might not do it right. Shopping around is easier though so there's that.
