I'm still looking for a good Getrag 284 if anyone locates one. Build can't be complete without it. LOL
Delmar, Delaware.... knowing you, you like road trips lol
Complete Getrag 284 5 Speed, Flywheel, slave/master cyl, shifter cables, axles | eBay
Best build ever(besides the rwd over on ftv6), this is 30 pages i loved reading!!!!! I'm going to start looking for a tranny right meow!!!! I got a spare gp coming my way this winter and it needs some fun parts and i finally have money for some ****! Congrats man and well done!
She's not completely done yet, but it certainly is a lot of fun. Once I get a good 284 in there, she will be golden. Right now 5th gear is trying too damn hard to get out of the case.
I really want the 6spd from a g6 for the fact that they are ease to find but i've read they are weaker and need custom half shafts
Don't get it I messages him and got his number and talked to him. He has no idea how a engine and transmission work. From what he told me is the transmission shifts hard cuz the engine was bad? I asked more about that and then he was saying, ill half to talk to my buddy he's the one who had it, drove it, and took it out but he's not here. I asked what's his number may I talk to him? No he just got rid of his cell phone the plan was too high. Idk but you guys should call him just doesn't sound right to me.
Uhh dafuq are you going on about guy?
I think he was talking about the guy in DE. If not, are you talking about guy? LOL
the guy selling the set up? I was just trying to warn you, ether the he has no idea what he's talking about or you'll be getting a burned up transmission. That what I got when I was talking to him. And yeah I am talking about the DA guy he didnt give me his name. Do what you want tho.
I'm not buying anything right now. My car is in storage for the winter, and my main focus is my Isuzu Rodeo. Spring time is when the focus will go back onto Anna Nicole.
Isuzu is gone as a company lol
What about that wrangler?!
Have you ever driven a Rodeo? Things are AMAZING to drive on and off road. They came factory with low gears and limited slip. You aren't getting that in a Jeep unless you go Rubicon.
But don't they roll like blazers?
my 03 gmc 2500 HD 4x4 in 4 low, if i nailed the gas till it shifted, it would rip the right front wheel off the ground going into 2 nd gear, like it was a track car launching off the line.......on dry ground.
in the snow it would break all 4 wheels loose and slide the truck around, good times man....... gotta love them 4.10 gears. and this was with 33's on the truck.
