I'll never be the same looking at that last pick.

    Good luck with the car.

Good luck with the car! I love GM H body cars. The S1 3800 is a turd for modding, If you can, swap it out for a s2 s3

If you want the info to swap it out, I've got all the pinouts mapped.

Otherwise.. you should have good luck and like it. If the ELC stops, get the monroe airline kit and run it to the trunk, then manually fill instead of fighting the ELC.

Be careful of the plastic front fenders in the winter..they like to shatter. Otherwise..enjoy those seats.

    SSEi's were S1 L67's 92-95, then S2 L67's 96-03

Odd that they kept the same engine code..but they did.

    92 didn't have roller rockers
    93 had roller rockers
94 got coating on the SC rotors and a larger TB
95 had the coating, larger TB and generally seemed more refined
96 got the Series 2 motor with the 4T60e trans. SC was painted
97 Series 2 with 4T65E no paint on body of SC
98 no vacuum tree in SC by the TB
99 Considered the most refined year of the 96-99's
00 finally we see the newer alternator and bracket that the w bodies got in 99.

Your tail light delamination is impossible to actually fix. You likely can't find a good set and if you do..they'll delam.
Your pcm is the biggest piile of garbage in the universe. However most JY's only charge $20 for them. Swap the pcm and eprom to solve most issues with how the car runs or shifts.
The adaptive lamp monitor.... it's a love/hate relationship. When you show a tail out and can't find it..fix your license plate lights. =0)
Your EGR tube, it's a piece of gold. If you ever see one at a JY..get it. Cause when/if yours breaks..there isn't a good fix.

aim me in a general direction and I can fill you in further. Overall though.. I know Bonnevilles.
