You should totally find a RS or L and fix it up real nice for a DD
Problem is I don't know what the 93 is worth. book value is like $800 but no one pays near book value on old Subarus. I'm on the hunt for a RS though.
Yeah I love the 2.5RS 2 door GC's too.
But I'm considering either 07+ 9-3 Aero or 03-05 BMW 330XI. Those are my picks for my 9-5 replacement.
There's a Saab 92x that lives in my driveway now. My dad bought it as a DD and plans on selling it in a few years. I'll be buying it haha.

92x. Sorry left out the model. That part is kind of important haha. It's a really nice car though. It's nice to feel like I'm driving my car but in something a little more sophisticated I guess? It's not a luxury car but compared to my Subarus it is.

Picked up WRX wheels for $80 for the set (came with center caps as well). They weigh about 5lbs a piece less than the Motegis and I like them better as well. I'm stripping all the paint off and plasti dipping them. I have white for now but I'll probably do purple or orange or some **** like that. UEL/STi catback should be happening sometime in the next week or 2 as well, I've been driving it with no exhaust all this time and I'm getting tired of it.
Haven't been getting a whole lot done, work and school are keeping me busy. I did finally get around to swapping the tires onto my WRX wheels and fixing the exhaust.
First, here's the stainless UEL header I replaced the stock manifold with. The car definitely sounds like a Subaru now. I should add that the stock manifold/cat/pipe with hanger were all that was on the car, the rest of the exhaust was non-existent.
I also put the stock catback from the STi on it, I meant to get of picture of it all while it was up on the lift but forgot so you can use your imagination.
Lastly here's the wheels. They actually don't look bad in white but I'm still thinking purple or orange will be cool to run for a while. Yes I got overspray on the tires. It's plastidip and it comes off, I just haven't gotten around to removing it all yet. Not really worried about it.

I also installed HIDs in my stock headlights. Haters come at me. They're aimed low in consideration for other drivers, never been flashed yet. It's a high/low kit so I can still see down the road at night when it's clear as well.
Found a local legacy for $700 I might go look at it...needs engine work from broken T Belt
You should plastidip the whole car.

Depending on how much damage was done that could be a fairly inexpensive fix, I'd try to get the car for 500 haha.
Thought about it, I think white on white would be cool since the STi is going to be black on black. Also thought about blue and using the gold plastidip stuff on the wheels. GOtta fix the rust first though.
I'll see what I can do! It's supposed to rain for the next week here but if I can catch a break I'll slap the gopro on the back and grab some video.
I"m actually thinking about selling it as of yesterday. My friend has a 2000 RS with a WRX motor swap and he spun a bearing 2 nights ago. He's tired of it (the reason he swapped it in the first place was because the original 2.5 blew up) so he's going to unload it.
What do you guys think the car is realistically worth?
A 2000 with a clean title/body just a blown motor and the trans is in good shape along with everything else...idk a couple grand tops?
