Hello my name is Donny and i'm from a small town in Ontario Canada, I bought my first car on November 27th 2011 and although I liked the red, I preferred black, I picked up some chrome rims off of a 98 bonneville for $200 so I figured that was my budget for this paint job, it's not a show quality job but it's fine for me, this is my first experience with body-work, painting and first time having a car, criticism is welcome.

Overall the paint job came out 10x better than I had hoped, and it only cost me roughly $120 and a lot of man hours.

First day with my baby, all clean and red:

    Starting the transformation...

Snagged some chrome rims off of a 98 bonneville:

I'm not much of a body-man, but there was a big hole here before:

    Door Jambs being painted black:

Plastic bumper vs Cement Parking Barrier... you be the judge:

    My little helper:

It's not that I don't like pontiac, I just want the entire car to be black:

    And it's going black:

I agree but it's my DD and I don't want to do anything too drastic to compromise that, i'm going to be going to school full time next year.

yeah black looks way better, my original reason was because I didn't want to have to match the paint colour but the black looks much better for sure.

I was looking at putting together a turbo kit, it's my DD though so i'm not sure if I want to try anything like that.
