Nice pics. The car is so clean.
i will add to the others: TINT.
hmm im glad you plastidipped your rims so i could see what they look like. not quite what i imagined, but not bad. and black inlays on a black lower facia? ucrazyguy? I have a reflective black arrowhead and its sweet. on the back i have reflective maroon inlays with a silver outline, its on my ride thread if you want to see.
Not sure yet. The instructions tell me to hook up a blue wire i believe to their orange and green one and i did and it didnt pick up on my radio and i tried a couple other wires with no luck. I actually kind of forgot i was going to look at that this past week so ill get to it next week. lol
very nice car man! nice to see more people from wisconsin
So I've always liked the idea of the halo rings and led strip. However I could not justify spending $200+ on projector headlights that ive heard are junk anyway just for the halo rings so I decided to buy some CCFL rings and 2 LED strips and try it out. I also got the fog lights apart and will be putting a ring in each as well. I had an old set of headlights that I cleaned up enough to use on my car while I work on this project. I still have a long way to go but I have lots of down time after work.
I was kind of surprised when I was testing everything to see how bright they were with the LED and CCFL.
I will be figuring out wiring and such in the next few days as well. Sneak peak of fogs to come as well.
too bad you didnt retrofit any projectors while at it. THAT is a major difference in light.
Ive heard of the retro fitting but havent really considered it much. I could go that route because the lights are still open and i have nothing really attached yet. I guess im not really sure what i would need for it so if you could provide a link or something thatd be greatly appriciated!

It is closed due to controversy, he is no longer a member, but the work is still good. You will have to go several pages in tho, to get pictures to help with the process, but the steps to follow are on page 1
Pictures are scattered around here if you want to see his work http://s951.photobucket.com/profile/cleangtp/uploads
For $3 i think its good for a laugh.
Heres the pics of the halo rings in the stock fogs. They were a total pita to get apart but they look good now. Put the headlights and the foglights back into the car. Now just have to wire everything up and they will be up and running!
i was thinking about borrowing you idea of the platidipped wheels, door moldings, and spoiler how hard was it to take the spoiler and moldings off?
Spoiler is held on by 6 bolts and double sided tape. I took it off and plasti dipped it and then got some gasket material stuff that you can cut yourself and put that around the holes in the trunk lid to keep water out of the trunk and then put some 3M double sided tape down (dont go all the way around the spoiler edge otherwise it will trap in water) and then put it back on.
The door mouldings i just put painters tape in the crack and covered up about 10 inches above and below and went to town on it. It was really easy and once it was dry i carefully ran a razor along the edge of the tape so it wouldnt pull up the plasti dip.
sounds easy enough sounds like a weekends project then cuz im gonna do my wheels to which wont be difficult either i imagine
