Gee Dangit. lol
Sorry to hear that you had your last straw, but we all get to that point eventually.
In my three years of owning this car I've never seen anything like it. I told it today that I was not going to be spending any more money on it. Luckily I had a camera handy to capture the response I got.

Well I thought that the car was looking so lonely by itself so I went out and bought a 1985 Honda Shadow 700 with 5,034 miles so it would have a playmate. They play nicely together.
Also got the in channel vent visors put in after a few months of having them painted and ready to go.
Really I haven't done much with the car in a while. Don't really plan on it either. Been really busy with college stuff. Oh and I went over to Japan for 10days in mid May for a service learning thing through my college. I put a Pioneer 1200watt amp and 2 Pioneer 12in 600watt subs in the trunk a week ago. Not going to show pics as its really not good for show (didn't put carpet on the boxes). But Ill be honest, these are way to powerful for me. I have the bass boost all the way down and the db on the headunit set at 0 and I think it sounds good. lol. But now I will never have to upgrade again. Quite the step up from a single 10in 200watt Pioneer sub.
The other recent update is I smacked a deer with my car after it ran out in front of me at dusk (the time when your headlights dont help but you cant see anything either). Was going 55 on a country road. Scrubbed off enough speed to make it a less destructive impact. And I hit it dead center too so it didnt break any lights. The only affected things were the plastic behind the bumper (shown in 4th pic), bent license plate, and crumpled hood. Here's the damage.
I took a hammer, heat gun, rubber mallet, drill, and a rod to it last night to straighten the hood out the best I could and this is what I ended up with. Got the license plate fairly straight as well.
Not bad for first autobody work Ive ever done and not knowing what I was doing. lol.
As for the future, this car will probably be living out its life as is. In about 2.5years I'm hoping to have enough money set aside to purchase a 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6 as pictured here with T-Tops in cash. I need to get back into a RWD vehicle and figured Id stick with a Pontiac and get into the F-Body.
where is the dam deer. Why does nobody take deer photos on their dinner plate? If a deer hits me, dont think for one second he aint comming home with me, Ill eat that ***** right in the front of the car
No. Still need a car for transportation. Will most likely never sell it. I will probably run it til it dies and take it to the junkyard.
Well I pulled over to check and see what there was for damage and when I got out I figured that it was dead. So after I assessed the damage I looked to see that it was no longer lying in the road. Probably wont live much longer though.
I want pics of the subs and stuff, curious on how you did with the dual boxes and stuff, sounds like everythink worked out. If your amp came with a gain knobs those are pretty handy to adjust on the fly. I almost took out few deer myself, my commute is all backroads and at 4am its dark as **** and my headlights are garbage. I need a set of retros.

Well I don't know where to start but anyways I got tired of not being able to see sh!t at night so I bit the bullet and got everything in line for a retro fit. I'm super pleased except that the right projector is a little crooked cause it ended up turning a little bit when I snugged it down. I may try to redo that. It was around mid March when I finally installed them. Here are some pics.

UNFORTUNATELY, I only had them in for about a month before I was driving home from class one day and the temp gauge started rising. I got home and it pissed coolant all over the yard. My mechanic said that labor costs were going to be about $800 and just to drop the tranny and move all the **** to get to the leak to fix it. I had been thinking of getting a different car this fall anyways so I really don't want to get it fixed. This is just one of many things that the car needs or will be needing soon so its time to let it go. As of April 15th its been sitting in my parents yard and just a few days ago I started pulling stuff out of it.
Everyone keeps asking me what I'm going to get to replace it. Ultimately I would like to get an LS2 GTO, Trans Am WS6, G8 GT, or Grand Prix GXP but right now those are a little out of my price range and aren't realistic cars for me to use for a daily and driving in Wisconsin winters. So with that being said I have pretty much set my mind on getting the same gen GTP as my Prix seeing as how I've got all sorts of parts that I can use on it. Also looking forward to jumping into the supercharged life. People keep giving me sh!t for it but I've learned so much about Grand Prixs in the past 5yrs of having mine that I know what to look out for and kind of what to expect moreso than if I were to run out and buy something I'm not familiar with. I haven't really been on here much but I will try to keep you all updated on what I get.
drop trans for leak lol
Thats what it sounded like but my mechanic said something about the rear main seal being bad on it so Im not 100% sure. Everyone else says freeze plug and that was my first thought too but I couldnt really see where it was coming from exactly and I dont have the time to mess with it.
So just a little update on this car. Turns out the problem with my GT was the crankshaft seal gasket was bad causing the coolant leak. Pulled the motor myself and replaced the gasket in Dec 2015 and put the car on the road in July 2016. Been chasing a clunk noise that occurs on acceleration in the right front but haven't had success at locating it.
