    Introducing "Natalya", my 2007 GXP.

When I first got her: That's the Wife's '06 base model in the background. We traveled about 150 miles to pick the car up earlier this month, so the first day, we gave em both a good wash.

First up: LED interior lights (BIG thanks to cerick08GP for his how-to)

Finished my debadge this weekend. I couldn't bring myself to get rid of the GXP emblems on the doors.

You can still kind of see the square where the GM emblem was. I have tried waxing it, but it's still highly visible. I would really like to know how to get rid of this.

Finally, i took the hood liner out today and was surprised to find it painted under there. From everything I had read, it seemed like GM didn't paint underneath. Guess I'm just lucky?

I ran around town after doing this and just from the temp gauge, it seems like it was running a good bit cooler. I guess this will be good for the tranny as well.

Finally, just a little shot that I took real quick in the yard...and one that the Wife took for me a while back.

That's all she's got for now, but I have an intake from CAI on the way (ordered it through Marylandspeed. Their shipping sux. It's been 2 weeks) and the HID kit from VVME. Moar pics upon install.

    Future Plans:

    ebay grills
    tranny cooler
    shift kit
    hogan downpipe
magnaflow catback (or custom, cost depending)
    cutout
    poly dogbone bushing
    window tint+rain guards
    tune (possibly overkill...haven't decided)

and the pipe dream: TEP tranny and cartuning turbo kit.....need $$$ first lol!

Shift kit should be on the top of your list. That LS4 does a number on the 4t65

Looks like a clean car, I do like some of the GXP features that is for sure and that v8 sound

I'll do retros when i get a little more money. My 9006 HID kit just got here today anyways. Gotta figure out this whole disable DRL thing...I'll probably just cover the daylight sensor, but I want to do it classy-like (i.e: not electrical tape)

That list was in no particular order. I actually was planning on doing the shift kit and tranny cooler simultaneously for the next mod. I have to justify these mods to the wife...the shift kit and tranny cooler will increase the life of the tranny and protect our investment.

You aren't TOO far off in the scheme of things. I'm just outside of Watertown (north of Syracuse on 81)

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Well, I got the HIDs installed yesterday. I paid to have it done while I was at work. I'm not all that great with wiring. The guy did a great job. The ballasts and all the wiring is for the most part hidden. They are BRIGHT! The pic I took really doesn't do it justice. I might snap a few more tonight. It's the VVME 35W kit with the slim ballasts and 8000k bulbs. With as bright as these are, I think 55W might be overkill. It makes me want to do a HID fog kit. The CAI kit came in today as well. I had to run to catch the FEDEX guy (we had the kids at the park and saw the truck pull onto our street). I got it installed in about an hour and a half. The instructions could have been a little better, but I got it installed, regardless.

I think I've caught the MOD bug cause I'm already thinking about the tranny cooler and shift kit. I have to save up the $$ for it though. The LED strips for the headlights should be here on Monday and I hope that will curb my appetite.

Why do you say that it won't need a tranny cooler? Just curious, cause I thought they will prolong the life of the tranny.

I ended up just painting it black. I was really careful and it looks really nice.

The parking lights come on automatically with the headlights now. Idk if it is supposed to happen, but I like it.
