Welcome to the Comp G club.

Had mine for 1.5 yrs and love driving it everytime I get in it.

Nice score. Comp G's do not come with GMPP suspension btw, but they get FE3 front and rear sways and stiffer struts, you need to add reinforced RTA's and fr and rear stb's...

This link will go over the differences nicely for you... and enjoy! Nice find!

Nice car I hope to eventually move up to the 04+ class in a couple of years. Do you run premium with them?

The car can run on regular since for this year the engines were programmed to handle regular but it is not recommended. I personally use premium fuel since its better for the engine and I dont want to run into any problems since the car is supercharged.

Take car of it and enjoy it. As I said before, I spent a large chunk of my savings even with the help of my parents on the car. Hopefully I will have a job by the summer to pay for gas and other stuff. The only thing I plan on doing is a CAI and an exhaust system. I really dont want to mess with the computer stuff and pulley. Maybe that will change, but I dont want to run into mechanical problems with such a rare car in this condition. Besides, its really fast for me and could not be happier

that's good thinking. my car never broke until I started working on it. Well you might be okay but for sure don't have me work on it, that would be double trouble waiting to happen

04 plus cars can run on 87 octane fuel but running on 91 or better is still recommended...

great compg bro very clean and i like the interior black and vanilla white combo, but dont get exhaust system waste of money, lotta ppl told me the same when i wanted to get exhaust system but they were right u wont really gain to much out of it, put money towards headers and mufflers and everyone will say make ur own intake, i got K&N and runs just fine but it will be better to make your own

I am already set on getting the K&N Intake. I really dont mind spending that much and the place by me being Pep Boys will install it for a very low fee. I dont mind paying the extra since I will be getting a true and tested product that is installed by mechanics and people who know how to take apart a car.

I really dont want to mess with the car mechanics, all I can do is change the oil, lights, and other fluids. Also, I will have headers, and such be installed professionally. I really dont fell comfortable having myself or some random person that says he/she knows about the car but ends up screwing up the engine. It took my a long time to save up for this car and much time looking for one with low millage and in pristine condition. This car is also basically certified having all the fluids , brakes ,oils including supercharger oil, air filter, and even brand new tires be installed along with spark plugs. I really dont want to mess with the engine myself since I will do more harm then good and basically could blow my engine or break something do to something I thought would be easy.

I get what u mean by that, i would do the same myself. But i would do some things myself so i can lean how to do some of these things my self in the future and save money. The intake build is easy to do if you have a brain, but you do what makes you feel comfortable doing and hope things go well.

You can put a CAI on if you can change oil, they normally come with directions
