it should be lowered an inch. lowering links are cheap. then we can drop the tubes in the front and you'll be set.

or you could just ride it how it is since it probably handles great.

the lowering links are all the same. look around, whichever you can get the cheapest that isnt some piece of sheet metal is your best bet.

and dropping the tubes up front is easy, mine is dropped about 1.5" up front.

if he has to stand on his tippy toes to touch the ground then lowering it isn't a bad idea.

    cushion? haha

no lowering is needed, if i get lowering links do i need to shave my kickstand?

although it does handle pretty damn well.

Some bikes you do need to shorten the kickstand, some you don't. Not sure about those ninja's.

    Great looking bike though.

Only thing I see wrong is the stock front turn signals, looks like they sorta slapped them on there... Maybe make a small LED pod, or use integrated mirrors??

Either way, looks great, and I'm jealous because it handles better than my fat kid.

well PSR lowering links are ordered, thinking about a double bubble windscreen.
also picked up a adjustable kickstand that will match the calipers.

guess ill make this a build thread noaw

    Double bubble is win.

Touring windscreens tend too look goofy on sportsbikes.
Double bubble is a nice mix between stock/race and touring.

    Keep the pictures coming.

Nice bike. I just picked up a black 2009 250r and I was looking at a 06 zx6r the limited edition platinum with red tribal.

I never rode yet. So well see Cool that i read this thread. Maybe I'll do the same

What made you sell the first one?
Also how does your current bike feel/compare
