whered you get that hood? or did you make it yourself?
I got it from pfyc.com last year, the problem with making hoods yourself is that once you put a type of fiber glass over a metal hood the vibration will cause the body filler or fiber glass to crack even if you rivet it in. The only really good way to make a hood is if you have a metal hood and metal scoops. But you want the same metals or else you will have galvanic corrosion. Trust me if i had a scoop laying around i would of made it myself. Plus i wanted a functional ram air it would be alot of work to make one. Though id never doubt myself i know i could do it
I dig the rims white its a good look for your car
is your current hood functional?
yes have the SD ram air hood with the SLP cold air/ram air box from 3800performance.com and it does show a very noticeable difference in temperature im running a stock t-stat as of right now
what other engine work have you done to the car?
Its going to look sweet with a drop. You've got me thinking now, I might have to see if i can pick some of those up and do a gloss black....
