So I finally lowered the damn thing. I went with GR2's and SSC springs. Overall the ride isn't much different from stock, although it feels that way considering my stock struts were completely shot.
BOOM!
POW!
rear is higher than I'd like it to be :/
for the sake of comparison:
before:
after:
Again, the rear is kinda disappointing. Some people say springs settle and others say they settle as soon as they're installed. Oh well. Regardless, it looks better than it did and i needed dis sh*t.
the front looks dropped but the rears almost look the same
needs to settle, mine did the same, there is hardly any weight in the trunk
where did the sexy wheels go??
i had to take em off a while back. i plan on putting them back on soon once i patch one of the tires
yeah the rear looks better than in the picture even now...itll be a bit before its completely settled. the ride is honestly pretty comfortable. my old struts were totally shot though so anything is better. did you get the antipogo washers?
theyll settle, although rear wont drop as much. looks good tho, oem+
I decided not to sell the wheels and I just put them on the other day. They look 10x better now that the car is lower. So here's an update picture.
a couple months ago...stock ride height
and now ^
So it's been a few months and this car has seen some new goodies.
Since the last time I've posted, installed were:
6000k HID's
40% Tint All Around(NJ is laaaaaame)
Inferno Spoiler
Ordered headers today
(sorry this one is a bit blurry...camera was pissing me off)
Looks great and the springs have settled more.
Those wheels sit beautifully on your car.
The stock wheels looked MUCH better imo... And the first mod should always be tinting windows!!!! Hahaahahahaha
