Alright, I've lurked in here long enough without posting my car up. So here we go....

Here's a pic of the car from around July 2011.

Installed 6K HID Low and High beams.

    Debadged the ass end.

Took out the stock air filter and box and put the intake in. It is supported by a roof vent that I cut down to hug the side perfectly.

    Another pic of it.

Upgraded my stereo system. Here are my 2 amps, DD C4A for my Massive Audio CK6's and DC2K for my 2-DC Level 4 12's.

Here are the DC Level 4's.

With those being added, it was definitely time to add another battery to the equation, so I bought an XS Power d3400 and ran 1/0 ga + & - to the trunk. I also did the Big 3 in welding cable.

Installed the Massive Audio CK6's into the doors. I didn't like the factory tweeter location so I mounted the tweeters up higher on the doors.

I had the box built for me. It's tuned to 33hz.

Got the windows tinted this past Saturday. Tint waiver got signed by my doctor and turned into DMV. It is the worst side effect from my Chemo treatments, believe it or not. My eyes are now ridiculously sensitive to sunlight.

Ordered a reflective black overlay for my GP arrow from Reflective Concepts.

Here's a video of my system in action. I haven't banged on it yet because I still need to get it hooked up to an Oscope or DD-1 and set my gains properly. But it still provides a lil bump....

I painted the engine cover today and I'll get a pic up of it tomorrow. Let me know what you think.

Nice ride man. Get that stereo tuned in, and get some midrange to go with the low's. I would think those MA's should sound pretty decent. What are you crossing everything at? Hz and slopes? Or are you running passive crossovers that came with the MA's?

Clean ride, looks like you do a nice job buffing on the outside.

Glad to see your keepin' busy even with the Chemo and what not, hope you get better.

Rodney, I'm running the crossovers that came with the MA's. They keep up really well, its just impossible to tell from the iPhone vid. I did hook the tweets up at -3 on the crossover. They were a lil too harsh without it.

Drunkie, I try to keep her as clean as possible. I've had her since 2006 and for 135k out of the 170k on her.

And thank you, I only 3 more treatments to go.

I know how hard it is, I watched my mother go through treatments and surgery after surgery when she was diagnosised with Pancreatic Cancer

Keep at it man, your doing good.

Here's the painted engine cover. I'm pretty happy with my first time sanding and painting plastics.

Nasty setup. Sounds like it's moving some serious air.
But trunk rattle... someway somehow, it needs to be killed with fire. I'm running a bandpass box with 4 12"s firing directly into the cabin, that helped kill a ton of trunk rattle.

I'm thinking after I get out of the hospital from my next treatment, I'm gonna reposition my amps and turn the box around toward the cabin and see how much it changes the rattle.

I did that when I was running 2. Honestly, with the passthrough closed, it sounded pretty good still and killed most the trunk rattle, with the passthrough opened, I felt it a lot less, but it became a lot more refined, much cleaner bass.

I bought Timken hubs a couple days ago for my front and DESPERATELY need to get them installed tomorrow. Plus my interior LED's should arrive tomorrow. Went with all blue in the interior and trunk. I plan on taking my dash apart and putting blue lights in all the instrument clusters next month.

My video really doesn't do it justice, but even if I were to feel it less, I'd still be feeling it pretty good. DC Level 4 12's are no joke. My boy with 2 W7's is envious about how my **** sounds, especially when I paid $225/per sub. Got a helluva deal from one of their online reps on SMD.com.
