That sucks! Might as well take off the quarter panel. Free weight reduction lol

Thats sucks but looks to be an easy fix as the damage didn't get into the door or bumper, start searching the local yards for a new fender that matches your paint color. Unbolt the damaged one and replace with a good one.
Sucks about getting hit, hope you find a silver fender at the JY for cheap.
well it appears it is more than just the fender, the hood has been shifted, the running board is bent (both medal underneath and plastic on top) door now catches it, one of the brackets for the hood looks bent, and at least the splash guard underneath is damaged, maybe more than that, that i cant see yet.
my insurance said it should be covered, by hers and her insurance made it sound like they would cover it, im waiting to hear from their claims now
and then i get to deal with estimates for damage and eventually get a check, but then the question of what should i do? comes to mind...
fix this one and keep its problems... or get a new shell and put this motor in it.. decisions, decisions.

Right thats one option
im considering buying a new shell tho cause this car has its fair share of problems away from the accident, it has rust, clear coat problems, shocks going out, interiors getting worn, plus with the Z i have no reason for another 2 door "sports car". id like a nice 4 door GP or maybe even a bonne, too pull this engine and trans and drop them into a good conditioned car
Get a bonnie. Sooo much more comfortable than a GP. and they can move just as well
my dads bonnie always rode really nice im for sure gonna look into that!
ive never heard a bonnie with loud whine before
I almost got a ssei when I was looking for a new car. But the one I was gonna buy the guy backed out. I was pissed. And then got my coupe
i almost bought a bonnie before my coupe also! lmao
problem with the bonnie is i want to move my goodies from my gtp over and the SS brake lines arnt the right size (i think the f body brakes work on them tho) , i have no idea about bonnies trans compared to GTPs i dont think they are the same. and id have to get a new tune
ill have to check into the trans, but if its the same, idealy id like a super clean body with no engine and trans i could buy with insurance moneies and then drop my low mileage engine and trans in!
The trans is the same.
and just look under the hood at all that space to work
Good to know thanks!!
does anyone know where I should even start looking for a complete car minus engine and or trans??
Well despite recent "issues"
there is some good news, new CUPHOLDERS!!
That's what I've been doing, but everyone has started to part out those cars and none are complete anymore
