Lack of KR is a nice feeling lol
I wish, most I've had is 6 at wot at shift change in the lower gears
Yea you're right wa04, im not comfortable with the rear section of the header install and possible fitment issues.I would have a pro do it for me if i were to get it. But im also getting alternator voltage booster, the power cable, installing my AL104s and a different intake setup.
Yeah fitment of the SD headers really isn't that bad but a header install is alot harder then a PLOG Dp....you should dyno it after the you get everthing insalled
Agreed ^
Yea a good guy im cool with who owns a performance shop near me was telling me over the summer he was getting a dyno but last i chacked he didnt have it yet.Ill have to swing by again. Id say after the plog hopefully im close to 230ish whp. Seen quite a few 04+ with just an intake put out around 220whp.
When I got mine dynoed I put out 219whp and 255tq at the wheels. That was with just a small cone filter attached to the maf sensor
And for your proof I have proof
Guy on YouTube supposedly did it with rockers headers and tune, dunno if it was true or not lol
That's what I thought, I want to see paper not just someone's word lol. He said 275 whp and over 300 tq at wheels
I put out 245whp with S2 I/C, ZZP headers and a 3.4" on stock injectors with a LOUSY and I mean LOUSY tune.
We're talking around ~13* timing advance w/ ~10.5:1 AFR.
I'd fair to say I'm between 360-375whp now, dyno in the spring will tell.
Don't forget to film, if you get on a dyno. I will be posting once I do.
Yeah I'm at 14 or 15 degrees of timing at 11.7 afr runs pretty dam good...that's with a 3.5 pulley...if I richened it up a tad could prob get some more timing out of it
Yeah I have deff thought about it...would need to pick up a 3.8 pulley from zzp...I thought the headers and rockers would help me add timing but looks like I need a cam!
Oh, you already installed the rockers huh?
Don't buy a stock sized pulley from them.
Stick with the 3.5", but look into larger injectors and E85 if you want more timing and a leaner AFR.
60# injectors would do the trick, I run 80# though because I've maxed out the S/C and we both share a returnless fuel system.
