Hi, I've been browsing these forums for a while and thought I'd finally join since i got my first car! It's a 1998 Grand Prix GTP Daytona edition. Coming from a ford ranger, i love driving this car. The accelerations so smooth. I'm always hesitant to punch it because i was this baby to last with only 58k miles. Took some pics after i got off work at the GMC Buick (also use to be pontiac ) dealer ship. Gave it a really fast wash during my hour break.

Thank you thank you. I dont know what i want to do to it. I want to keep it stock but then again i want to put some tints on it. Not sure how it will look, i can only imagine it looking better. Also want to put a cold air intake for better fuel economy(?) and small hp gain. Still have future plans, but not for a long time.

I'm going to do a cold air intake first, but i believe i have to move a coolant box over to the top left corner for one to fit. Going to have some trouble with that.

Should i go for lower % tints or get the that is the line between illegal and legal? I forgot which one my gf's grand am has but when i went with her they said that the third option she chose is illegal and the one below that is legal. Problem is, is that i forgot the % lol. But she never gotten pulled over so. I checked the website for the place, and it's 20% i believe

Yup 2 long nights lol. Legal in IL is 35% my wifes car is 20% and no issues yet. Most cops dont carry a tint gun or whatever its called they used to ticket in IL just for the fact the fronts were tinted.

I'm thinking the legal tint is 50% but i can't remember it's been a few years since i lived in indiana. Also you might want to change your LIM gasket before you get to many miles on it just to have it done.
