If you're getting a rack done get new tierods at the same time they will have to align it anyway.

New swaybar, moog tie rods, rack and pinion and power steering fluid. Drives smoother and turning is easy and smooth now. No vibration or shuddering when the TQ converter is locked under heavy load. Woot

Question: after a change in rack
and pinion, is there a break in period for it? The top half of steering left or right ( like 45*) feels ever so slightly tighter than beyond that degree of turning the wheel. The alignment feels spot on, the car stays straighten but like trying to turn or change lane with one hand feels some what tighter than say beyond 90* of turning the wheel.

    you bleed the air out?

wheels off the ground, car off, turn the wheels lock to lock 15 times. should clear it out.

the rack, and the p/s pump lines. i did it cap off. it burped out the top. then i had to top it off a bit here and there.
