The paint on my car really needed some attention and it hasnt been waxed since last summer. Finally decided to spend 6 hours taking car of it.
Wash, clay bar, ultimate compound, polish, and wax was what I did. Used all Meguiars products, for the most part, and used my orbital buffer.

Looks like pure sex.
got to love them buffers. they're like unicorn blood for car paint.
Are those tips 3.5 or 4? Damn I love this car.

I've had a few offers on the car. Some person offered $5,000 cash without even seeing the car. Couple uninteresting trades as well.
So far, I've turned everything down because I know I'll end up keeping it. Rebuilt engine and transmission, I know how to work on it, know whats done to it, and it has four doors. The only bad thing, it sucks down gas like no other in the city. See around 15mpg city but get about 28ish on the highway. Sucks I drive 90% city so I still spend A LOT on fuel.
Anyways, I do have a update though.
I used to have a killer sound system. 1200w 4-channel amp to all door speakers and 1800w mono amp to a 12" Type R. The 1200w amp died on me a long time ago, and the sub/amp combo quit working on me as well, so everything was hooked back to stock. I also believed my 1800w amp died as well. So after 8+ months of running stock sh*t I got sick of it and decided to give in, and fix it all. Yesterday, I bought 2-channel 1000w Sony Xplod amp (was going to be used for the Sub). After 8 hours of re-wiring EVERYTHING in the car, both amps turned on, but no power from the sub. I literally did everything I could. Finally figured it was the Sub outputs that were bad on the Headunit.
After giving up, basically, I decided I would tighty everything up and ready to go when I purchased a new unit. I ended up wiring the Xplod amp on the two rear speakers and it worked, so I got an idea to run an RCA cable from the Xplod amp over to the 1800w amp and.... BAM! It worked.
All finished, and damn, I forgot how hard this thing hits:
That's behind the sub box, obviously. Looks like a lot of wires, because it is, but everything is connected with butt connectors and no ghetto sh*t. Mainly everything is cut to length + a few inches to give me some wiggle room:
I also rewired all my Halo's and foglights. Everytime the car got wet, it would all go out. So I re-did everything as well. Every wire with bigger gauge and weather proof connectors/heat shrink.
Basically cleaning up all the crappy electrical job I've done on everything.
To conclude my update, I definitely have to keep the car now, because I can easily transport my first baby purchase, with the large back seat:
Glad the highway MPGs are better.
Sub will come out soon as baby is in the car.. trust me..
Deck with independent sub control
