    Thought about that.

I do think its a sweet idea.

But I do agree with this.

Using the turn signals a countless number of times a day, causing the CCFLs to constantly turn on and off may have some wear to them but not completely sure.

I'd rather be on the safe side and either have them on or off. Getting the most life out of a $200 set of headlights.

CCFL made projectors for the delta platform awhile back...

    Apparently they're legit.

Never really liked the LED crap they had...

They didn't put them on the Blats...phewwwww.

I would suggest hooking them to a switch so you have the control to shut them off. Just hook up the switch to a 12v switched power source (use fusetap in the interior fuse panel). That way you can leave that swittch on so anytime the car is on you can have the CCFLs on but if you want to leave the car on and sit without lights at all you can.

You must not have read the previous comments.

Im hooking the 12v from the CCFLs to a toggle switch next to the heated seat switch. Ill ground the CCFLs to someplace in the engine bay. Ill run the power wire into the cabin to a switch then to a constant 12v in the fusebox.

    Okay Ladies and Gentleman.

The SLP Gen 1 spoiler is on and OH MY LORD I LOVE IT.

It makes the car look so damn good. I'm in love.

BUT I NEED YOUR HELP. I'll explain after the pictures.

    BAM!

    Sweet. No spoiler.

    Rust:

Now here is where I need your help.

The spoiler is mounted with screws and 3M double sided tape (already came on the bottom of the spoiler).

Almost all aftermarket parts do not fit like OEM parts. The rear part of the spoiler (Near the tail lights) sits perfectly flush the trunk but the front is a different story.

The front of the spoiler (Towards the rear window) has almost an inch gap between the trunk lid and the spoiler itself. So whenever it rains, or I get a car wash, water will pool up under the spoiler with no exit.

I thought about raising the back of the spoiler so water can run under it, but its already mounted with 3M tape. I either need to close the gap with some material, or raise the back up some how.

    SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.

Used black garden hose gaskets around the mounting holes to get it to sit up a bit. Better to let the water flow through.
You can stack a couple up and use as many as you need to get it sitting nice.

But the problem is, there is 3M tape holding the spoiler down. When that stuff makes contact to another surface, its like concrete.

There is no way it is coming off nicely. Thats the big problem.

The 3m should come up a bit easier if you apply a bit of heat to it.

So if I get the 3M tape off the spoiler, then I am sure it will still stick to the trunk. or Vise Versa.

    Then what?

The wheel gap is finally starting to bother me quite a bit.

I'd like to lower it on KYB GR2's with SSC springs and call it a day.
