No thanks spartan, there was some on the car when I got it. Took them off since MO requires front plates

So. I sold her a month ago. Just thought you ought to know.
break even?
I knew!
Yup. Why I did it. Still needed about another grand in work, which I could do, but selling gets me money to get me through the next school year, plus it was an auto and I was already getting bored driving it around. I'll buy another e36 someday, but it'll definitely be a 5 speed. That thing converted me though, I love german engineering.
Right? My bro bought a German car after he hit a deer with his GP. We're both like.."this thing is so simple"
I don't know about simple. But the way they design it and manufacture just sorta makes sense. More so than other cars I've seen. But some stuff they overthink to the point of "well here's one more part that can go wrong"
I thought I spotted this on Craigslist a while back
E36 wasn't even the over engineering model.
E30 was test until failure then improve, E36 was computer designed, thus possible for rear strut towers to fail.
So don't think they're prefect.
Nothing is perfect. And you're right about those rear strut tower failures, but i think they're more common on the m3 (got a friend who just dealt with that issue). I still had driveshaft vibration from bad u-joint, my secondary air pump was throwing a code, the window frame sliders kept breaking, active stability control was tripping a light, but that's all common stuff. Stuff I didn't mind fixing, but just don't have time until next summer, so I figured I'd let someone else deal with it now and I'll get what I really want next year.
Regardless, if I was in a better financial position, I'd find myself a nice E36 M3 to daily. Must be an M5 though.
Definitely. After DDing the jeep for so long, anytime I switched back to the bmw I didn't know what to do with my hand and foot. Too boring.
See your on my level now...
Love the germans and love the stick
Right...which means you're either talking E34 or E39
