    Sure has been awhile...

I've had a '72 4-4-2 in my possession for the last few weeks so I haven't had too many fresh pictures of the GTP. Detailed the 4-4-2 and my reward was to drive it around for a bit. Quite the compliment seeing as he doesn't let anyone else drive it

Dave, thought since you were more active here I'd toss 'em up!

Toying with a fish-eye lense I got for Christmas, not too crazy about the quality it produces.

From the GM meet a few months ago.

I should get it back in a week or so, so expect a few new fresh rounds I've got an SD lip sitting in the horse trailer waiting to be painted, have the cash, just not the car at the moment

Always loved that car and wanted to buy it before you did. Glad you are taking care of it the way Dave did.

Thanks guys, I try my hardest with the GTP. Dave had it held to quite the standard and its been interesting trying to maintain that

Oh the 4-4-2 wins hands down, you don't have to sugarcoat that

"Dave had it held to quite the standard and its been interesting trying to maintain that" No... it was bought used, but in flawless condition, as she has kept it

    What was I thinking??

Long story short. I found a '68 Olds 4-4-2 for a friend of mine at an amazing price; he bought it. He found this '00 GP GTP Coupe for a steal; I bought it.

The car itself is pretty solid, Carfax was clean (doesn't really mean anything), but overall in good condition. Needs a balance badly, some rotors, and of course cosmetic improvements that will come in time.

Came with Polished Torque rims that came off almost immediately. I bought the car on a Saturday and flew out to Florida Sunday, forced to leave the new toy at home. A friend of mine picked up a new set of dirt cheap rims for me that will need tires rather soon, but better than what was on there. The two front tires on the Torque's were showing thread.

I don't regret buying the car, but boy it's going to be a lot of work and time I don't really have, but I would have kicked myself severely if I let it go.

So since my brother named my Sedan (Erebus) a friend named this one Nyx (sister of Erebus)

    First day home:

First day I got home from vacation (5 days later)

Came home to roof rails (thanks 007!!) and Kv5's.

    First Mini-shoot with the Sedan

I care 'bout y'all, but the work that'll be done on this won't be laid out to be seen. I'll update as I work along. You should see a significant improvement with Nyx within the next few weeks.

Shortly after having it at home the A/C quit working (blows, but not cold), passenger motor went (shocker) and the blades were shot. It had a fresh inspection sticker so I think I smell a "Paid off inspector" so hopefully not too much is awful wrong with it. It's definitely too quiet in comparison to the Sedan, but I'm excited for this cars future

HAHA one day you will come out and can't decide which car to take...I go through it every day.

New one looks good so far, but so plain next your other whip.

It definitely is plain in comparison to the Sedan, no doubt!

With how it'll look, I'll definitely be struggling to decide which one to take!

As for the rims I chose to put on them... They were cheap and local. Better than any torque stars
