looks GREAT....light tint on the tails and i wouldnt touch anything else appearance wise on the outside.
The tails are staying completely untinted. I love the way the rear end of the car looks in the photoshop with the black wheels and trunk debadged. The untinted tails break up all the black.
It would look amazing if you shaved the key hole on the trunk and then took of the WRX and STI badges so it only said Subaru in the middle of the trunk. But I still think a super light tint on the tails would look better lol.
I have 2 jobs, about 60 hours a week total right now. Once school starts back up I'll have to cut my hours back some but I'll cram all my classes into 2 days a week like I did this past year and work the other 5 days still. Do work.
Yeah it's an eBay lip. Fitment was good enough. I had to drill some of the mounting holes the rest of the way through, they didn't get molded through.

Bought it from these guys. That's also the seller I bought my strut braces/H-brace from.

Actually you'd want that one since you have the facelifted Impreza, but it's from the same seller.
They make a huge difference by the way, the car is so much tighter now. Feels very flat while cornering. I still want to do swaybars and either coilovers or a nice strut/spring combo but that's going to have to wait. Tires are next on my list of things to buy.

That's because I effing love how it looks slightly lowered and with the black wheels.
Bio I didn't catch that pic you posted of the STi where you work. That car looks pretty rough, I know they're almost identical but I think my car would pull off the black on black better than that one does.
My H brace broke at one of the mounting points last night. **** cheap ebay ****, gotta find a god deal on used SPT or Whiteline brace now.
very nice STI
Went to the dealership yesterday because they gave me a deal on the SPT subframe H brace and SPT turbo heat shield. Got both for about $20 less (each) than I found them anywhere online. On the way back steam starting billowing out of the hood scoop and the coolant temp was rising. Turns out the upper radiator hose let go, my friend Matt was with me and we pushed the car to his girlfriend's house. I went to the advance I work at and picked up a hose that I was able to cut to fit and got the car back on the road. Scary stuff, never want to see steam coming from the hood scoop again. It never overheated and it's running fine now. I gave the engine bay a good cleaning to get all the coolant out.
I'm still rocking the broken H brace, probably will be until sometime next week.
Some new goodies, a SPT H brace to replace the crap eBay one I bought. This one cost about 5x more but it's built 100x better. Alsp picked up a SPT turbo heat shield, gotta keep that heat away from the TMIC!
Also found out why I've had to put air in my front left tire so many times in the last few days...
Yeah, that will do it. I plugged it even though I'm going to be buying new tires this month. Just want to make it until next tuesday and my paychecks from both jobs are cashed.
Car looks bonerific Mr. Kyle.
