i bought mine from a member on another forum, if you cross your fingers you might find them at a yard. or if you open your wallet and wait you can buy them off of the classifieds.

They were really dull when I got em. Took me maybe 3 minutes to shine em up with Maguires Ultimate Compound. That stuff works miracles.Originally Posted by SilvaMan61

yeah im gonna clean mine up soon. by the time i got them on it was dark out. they still have my finger prints inlayed in the gorrila glue.. lol i got kinda sloppy with it

lol...I used 3m double sided and an epoxy puddy in between the 3m strips. I tested the puddy first to make sure it was the real deal. I kneaded some puddy and put it in an old vice that i had. Im pretty sure the vice will never open again.

i started off using double sided tape like yours but i couldnt get them to sit all the way in the channel correctly. this is where it got messy lol. i pulled them off and peeled off the tape, with gorilla glue everywhere by this point. so i ended up with just the glue. that puddy would have been helful. ill try and keep it in mind for possible applicatios later on. good luck with that vise by the way lol
oohh and if any one is wondering i still cant find the charger, i know im worried too..... you pricks lol

lol..its a goner. I just used the tape to hold the rails down while the puddy set. I can grab them and shake the entire car. They aint goin nowhere. You did remove the factory rails right?

yeah i removed the factory rails.
the problem was.. and i didnt realize this untill half way into the install... that the passenger side rail was fuuucked up. it looked like one of the sides had been sanded down or even cut. the shelfed ridges that should have been there werent. thus making it harder to line up correctly in the channel. but i ended up getting it to work.. and they even passed my shake test. car rocks back and forth with no play from either of the rails.
