The white ones are the ones that came off the door panel. They were the factory ones AFAIK. I got some black ones from Advance Auto that I used. It was a box of 15 IIRC.

And I suppose I could add a couple pix of my HUD...did this a looooong time ago. Don't even remember when lol...

    (4/29/11)
So I've been installing some Second Skin Damplifier Pro. Right now I have most of the trunk, all of the driver door, and all of the passenger rear done. Ive used about 16-17 sheets that are 12"X20". I should have just enough left to do the passenger door and driver side rear. I ordered 36 Sq ft. Onto the pixies...

Something to note is holy crap this is time consuming. Took over an hour i'd say to do this first piece on the door. Luckily the doors are symmetrical and I can flip the piece over to trace it on another piece as a template.

Door...pictures are in order of how I did them...

What not to do when you take the door panel off. Break all 13 push pins.

Where not to drop a wingnut for the tail lights.

Nope. I've taken my door panel on and off numerous times. Broke a couple, but almost all of them are fine.

Yes...in fact I have some comparison videos I need to upload. I reserved those posts for the different parts of the car. One being the doors, another for the trunk etc. It's not really a sound deadener but a vibration dampener to be honest. But it's stops new noises from occuring. So in turn it is somewhat of a sound dampener. The interior volume is DEFINATELY noticeable quieter at higher speeds (60+). The sound comes more from the firewall now instead of all around. I haven't done the floor YET either.

But oh man during the trunk phase I had to drive the car (in the rain on gravel even lol) with no carpet, rear seats or anything. Man was that LOUD..and I mean loud.

Went to the track on 9/16/11. First time ever racing. In fact, first time ever even at a drag strip. Glanzer scanned the car during a pass and I had 3* of KR in second and my timing dropped to 10*. I had about half way between 1/4 and a 1/2 of gas. Ran full weight on street tires.

First Pass..don't hate on my slow R/T..remember it's my first pass ever lol

And a vid of course. Both are the same vid...first one is just a direct link. ba8addbe.mp4 video by 4THGENCAMAROFAN - Photobucket

And this would be my fourth run. Raced a 350Z. Mods were unknown but I do know it had to of at least had a catback. Had a 3 gauage a pillar pod so he might have more...don't know.

    Slip...

Ok so now that I got my bone stock runs in I can start modding. First thing is gonna be porting the LIM and blower since one of the thermostat housing bolt holes is mucked up and won't tighten down. We're just gonna replace the intake with a spare one. Anywho I'm wondering what colors I should paint them. I want the blower crinkle black like Machinegunsquid's. But the LIM I don't know. I was thinking same color black, purple, or silver. I think i'm doing the rails purple. Opinions?

Here's squid's bay. I wan't my blower just like his. Case and snout black and the spacer polished/silver.

EDIT: Ok I kind of have an idea of what I want.
Black case/snout and the spacer silver/polished.
    Lower intake black or silver.
Black V/C's with the inset parts purple.
    Purple rails.
    Silver cross braces.
    Silver dog bones and brackets.

    What do you guys think?

Black case/snout and the spacer silver/polished. yes
Lower intake black or silver. silver
Black V/C's with the inset parts purple. smooth your valve covers and paint body color
Purple rails. how about polish them ?
    Silver cross braces. yes
Silver dog bones and brackets. black brackets and purple dog bones

I would incorporate the purple just a little but dont over do it. the silver and black will break it up nicely. Also when I say paint them purple I mean body color purple not just some random purple
Squirrels are my engine. I need a Ford Regal
    04 Comp G.
