Awesome buddy!
LOL secret Bryant...
I knew about it a week ago.
do you suppose it will make a difference? from all we have learned through our ports is that opening up anything bigger than the normal port will decrease efficiency of the blower. i know it is a similar port to what the mp112 dudes do, but what are your thoughts on how it will work in this situation?
i honestly dont think it will be much more effective than just opening up the triangle. Im thinkin it may just give it mroe of a whine or more of a unique whistle of some sort. It may even decrease the effectiveness tho bcuz its ported bigger
Porting was done on a GenV here. I'm stealing this from my buddy Shane...I'll see if he'll chime in since he was the guy that actually talked to them a couple years ago about it. These are the pics they sent him...
^^That's the lineup of 3800 blowers...from the left, 1st Gen M62, GenIII M90, GenV M90.
I think it will help some, it will let a little air out earlier in the rotors to made reduce heat. We will try it and find out, if it sucks oh well im just out a case.
I am sadly Nick's friend. With that said, here is the requested information why I inquired about port work on a Gen V. The above blower looks to be a gen 3 though. You can google these guys. They do world renowned work with proven results. I wish I had the money to do it. The cobra guys swing on Steggy nuts
Hey Shane,
We have a couple options for your GP. Porting and a rebuild for your M90 is $495 and will net you around 25 FWHP or we could do a Snake Bite Series blower for it that will give you an additional 5 lbs of boost and gains of around 60 FWHP. Give us a call to find out more.
Thank you,
Stiegemeier Porting Svc.

noez.
It's the Cobra M112...just ported out different ways...it's basically like saying you have a ZZP Ported Blower...or a Triple Edge one. They are all called the same thing at Stiegemeier...Snake Bite Blowers.
