I have a new car! the GTP isn't my Daily driver anymore.

I dropped the GTP off at the Tranmission shop so they can fix the leak. Then ill have it brought to the S&R Performance so they can dyno tune it later this week or early nextweek.

Who on here has a Northstar I'd like to buy a Cold Air Intake kit that will fix nicely and not look half assed

XPZ, Alum heads,150#, I/C, GEN V mps 3.0, N* TB CAI K&N fully built trans, JE pistons, L32 rods, Comp lifters, PRJ Fuel rails, 65# Injectors, elec pump, MSD wires, MSD coils, Alum control arms, AGX, vogtland, GMPP sway bars, rear trailing arms

    Joey..

I have one sitting on the shelf and an LQ4 maf as well. Don't have the adapters or couplers though. N* was used off a caddy, can be cleaned up pretty easy.

Photo? I have the Northstar already bolted on!

Also the Transmission is fixed and i am picking up the car tommorrow. Craddle spacers also put on.

My Buddy put anti-seize around the Pump Seal.... which destroyed the seal so to say!

Well the new track opens tomorrow! Grand Re-opening! new owner and new name and they just redid the oval track as well! I won't be able to attend because i still have to get an alignment and a tune on it.

as well as find a intake and install the new coolant overflow!

Also GTP has had the transmission leak fix and the cradle spacers installed. According to the shop My buddy put somekinda Grease/Anti Seize on the Pump seal which destroyed it.. but its all fixed now.

What would the tuner need to do in order to change the Gear Ratio in the PCM?

Yeah i noticed it would stall and die if the RPM's drop below 1000.

    need a tune bad!

What gear ratio do you have now? If you say 3.29's, you should look up the how to.

    Yeah i have 3.29.

Also i never finished figuring out that PCV issue.

Nipple on the back of the GEN V to the nipple on the N*

and NO Breather, and all the vac lines hooked up?

My buddy said he was getting mad vaccum while the engine was on (Couldn't take the oilcap off) so i'm not 100% on the PCV setup.

What can happen if the PCV setup is ****ed up?

Mad vacuum would mean that the pcv is working. By drawing a vacuum on the intake. What isn't working in the fresh air going into the crankcase. IIRC that's the front passengerside, where that little groove was supposed to be enough. Put a breather on before getting tuned and let your tuner account for the breather. It's unmetered fresh air...that's a breather. You won't want to implode any seals.

I looked for the 3.29 programming here (thought I had it here too) check Bpro. I know it's there for sure.

well he said that he couldn't take the oil cap off when with the engine on. I don't want to run a breather if i don't have too lol.

Well..if you have that kind of crank case vacuum either your pcv is missing/bad or you have an air intake issue on the other side. Either way..that vacuum isn't really good for the engine.

Going to put a new PCV valve in and see how that changes things. also a new map sensor to see how that runs as well.
