What do you mean with a ball peen hammer? Sorry for the dumb question hah but where the hell does a hammer come into use when cutting out gaskets? lol

i would have to think the hammer is for tapping the form of whatever your making the gasket for, into the gasket material so you can cut it out.

when i was a roofer, when doing vent pipes, commercial torch single ply stuff, to cover the bottom of the pipe flashing i would cut a mat, find center lay it over the pipe and smack with a hammer over the pipe, this left a nice out line, cut it out, nice snug fit every time.

It's a trick a buddy showed me when I was a kid, his father showed him etc etc. See before we had a billion parts stores, you would often have to make a gasket. So the founding fathers figure out...that if you lay a roll of gasket paper on something hard with a sharpish edge and use the round side of a ball peen hammer to tap the gasket where the edge is located, it'll actually cut you the perfect gasket. Very cool thing that works well.

I ran them too. When I was selling the parts off my car, I wouldn't even list them because of their failure rate.

Alright got the Accessories belt today (stock length + 4")

Got my buddy that works at auto zone to return my stock alternator and special order a 2000 Boneville 125amp Alternator to go with bill's bracket he sent me.

Got the brakes finished, Axles in, and found out im missing the passenger side ABS harness (hit me up if anyone has a spare one) Hood back on and its got the car cover on it till i return from Puerto Rico on the 30th of May.

    To do list:
Acquire a passenger side ABS Harness.
Get a Map of how to route the belts with the electric waterpump
Seal the intercooler & GEN V down
Figure out the PRJ Fuel System
Mount the Northstar TB on and see if my old Cold Air intake system works with it.
    Fire her up!
