1982 Chevy S-10 with 6.0 liter LQ4. custom cam with 226i / 231e .604 / .604 112 +2 and 317 heads shaved for an extra half point of compression. Long tube headers were a pain to get fit, flowtech long tube headers 11557 409 stainless steel 3" collector 1.75" primary. dual 3 inch exhaust with flowmaster 50 mufflers.

Eaton M90 gen 5 with the silencer ports welded shut. I cut the inlet off pretty short so it would fit in my S10 and then ported it until I ran out of patience. I had a friend weld a 4 inch tube to the blower which had a 90 degree angle. the single 90 degree tube wasn't enough angle so I had another 45 degree angle tube welded and then I used a V-band for the throttle body, which is a 90mm. I used 4 inch tubing for the inlet, 4 inch tubing for the LS7 maf housing and a 4 inch air filter. it's made 4.5lbs of boost so far but I've been having belt slip often. The M90 is bolted to the engine via an adapter plate made by Tom Demeuse who also makes Ford Mustang M122 adapter plates. under the adapter plate is a Holley Lo ram manifold. I plumbed the map sensor, a boost gauge sensor and a temperature sensor into the lo ram manifold. so far I haven't seen the post blower temperature go above 161. I have an ATI harmonic balancer, which has been pinned.

prior to the M90, I had a TBSS intake manifold with aftermarket fuel rails and fuel pressure regulator made by Fasster on ebay. I like buying stuff from him because he is located in the next state over so shipping is faster. I am running 50lb flex fuel injectors. best fuel injector for the price. the previous owner installed a fuel cell in the bed. I wanted to move it under the bed but it won't fit. it holds 10 gallons. I have 6AN fuel lines and a flex fuel sensor. I also have ATF (All the Fuel) filters. I bought them from a local guy. I have an AEM 400LPH fuel pump. I'm using the OEM 0411 computer. I have a tuner who is located in Texas and his name is James Brewer. he dialed the tune in with an AEM wideband.

The LS engine is mated to a TH350 that has been converted to full manual shift and has a 3000ish torque converter. the transmission has a standalone cooler and is a Tru-Cool 40k. I'm using a G-Force trans crossmember because it has channels that give clearance for the dual exhaust. the previous owner installed a driveshaft loop. the previous owner also installed an 8.5" rear end from a 2000 4x4 S-10. When I bought the truck he included a pair of 1985ish Corvette 16x8.5 inch wheels with Toyo Proxes TQ 275/45/R16 tires. I drive around on Toyo R888 tires in 255/50/R16's on the back and 14 inch wheels on the front. the front tires rub on the long tube header.

I did the 2000 Blazer brake upgrade on the front end. I moved the battery to the bed, I replaced the mechanical power steering pump with an electric power steering pump from a Volvo S40. I installed a quick ratio gear box that came in a 1989 Camaro Z-28. I replaced the stamped steel radiator core support with a tubular aluminum core support made by Jesse Lee from Deviance Fabrication. I have a dual radiator overflow and oil catch can made by Colt at Snail Fabrication.

the fastest I've gone at the closest 1/8th mile is 8.91.

This is pretty cool. Something a little different. Be neat to see it make a pass at the track.

last year it ran an 8.91 in the 1/8th mile. I took it to the dragstrip on Saturday and it was slower. the supercharger belt is slipping.
