    Neat dashboard/instrument cluster design.
I told the owner I was stunned how clean it was for being a northern car haha. The dash is a mix of digital and analog, I like it

Unfortunately it doesn't have VTEC lol, but it's not the single cam so it has that going for it. I frickin love driving it, handles well and like you said, sits low. My dad has trouble getting in and out hahaha

That's great.... Mine was the 2.3 and moved right along considering it was totally unmolested. Wow that dash shot brings back memories.

    H23 gang! Lol

For the time, 160hp from a 2.3 4cyl isn’t bad at all! The fact the VTEC model makes almost 200 is quite impressive. I mean it was Honda’s sports car at the time

The hilarious part was when I approached some ricers in a lot to ask about it. As soon as they saw Lude... they were salivating. They popped the hood and no one was interested anymore. Especially being an automatic. We all leave the lot together and I smoked the modded Vtec cars.

Since the body is good, hopefully the motor is as well.

Motor is decent, valve seals need to be replaced immediately, but other than that it’s fine lol

yeah..kills me when the commericals tell you how a honda or toyota did 300k miles..... but they leave out.. how it cost $500 every other month in maintenance and you basically own a new car at that mileage

Mine blew black smoke and I hoped to make it a mile home although it was driving fine. I sold that pos and bought a gm product asap. hence the bonneville, then 7 regals.

Yeah, mine will puff some blue smoke on startup, and after sitting idle in traffic for a bit. Typical valve seal issues.

Right, it’s like any car can go that long, you just have to put a million dollars into it haha

My 3800 stuff lasted forever w/o having these typical honda problems.

    Just an update

I bought some wheels and just ordered some lowering springs so it won't look stock anymore, even though it has no motor mods lol. I'll get a picture of it once everything is put together

Here's a current update on the car:

Finally got it lowered. Bought some springs back in August and found only the fronts fit, so I contacted the company and they gave me a 50% refund which was nice. Then found a guy who was selling a rear set so i picked those up for the same amount my refund was. Super happy with the result

Currently it's on the stock struts. About to buy some new ones tomorrow or over the weekend. Just wanted to install the springs. Also found that every bump stop either was missing or disintegrated so I bought some polyurethane ones as well. Only thing left I'd like to do to it is get a nice muffler for it like a Magnaflow or Thermal R&D and it'll be where I want it. Everything else is just maintenance.

I did have my A/C drain clog and dump water onto the passenger floor board so that was a b*tch to deal with lol. But I got that figured out and no more water

It’s not gonna be stupid loud, it’ll just be something better than stock. Trust me I did my research on what mufflers sound good because I don’t want it sounding like a $50 eBay can. Mangnaflow and Thermal R&D are the 2 that have a deep sound that isn’t too loud. People say Vibrant sounds pretty good so I’ll look into them.

I’ve had the exhaust welded 2 times now for leaks, and a third one popped up, so now it’s time for a whole new exhaust. eBay has a whole kit (headers-muffler) for like $170 shipped so I’ll probably buy that and junk the muffler and headers. Unless it’s all a different diameter, but I’ll look into it

Crashed the Prelude over summer, it was a sad day lol. Rocking a 4cyl auto 2005 Accord now. Little bit of body rust on the rear wells and plenty of rust underneath, but nothing structural. 177k miles and it runs perfect, was a 1 owner with a folder full of maintenance records.

Put new black housing headlights on it and bought some neuspeed race springs and struts to lower it. Still waiting to take it in to get done, suspension is too rusty for me to do by myself lol
Also bought different OEM rims since the originals were trashed

The Accord is still kicking. Currently at 217k miles and still no issues. But I have been saving up for some time now and am ready to have a sports car again. I'll give a hint: it's Japanese, from the early 90's, AWD, turbo, manual, and there are very few left floating around. That's all I'm gonna say until I get it lol

Hahaha no it's not that. I'm looking for a 90-93 Celica All-Trac. I've always loved rally racing, and this being made for rallying back in the day is a perfect fit for me
