    yeah the stock one. why you ask simple its give you the correct level if you put in an aftermarket one then the level will be way off

    www. go to the junkyard .com it'll take you all of 5 minutes and you won't even need any tools.

    I have a flexible transmission dipstick tube, it came with the transmission I bought, so I couldn't say where you could get one. reading the transmission fluid level is pretty tough on that dipstick, not sure if I would recommend one.

    tube from my 98 regal fit, only bent it maybe a 1/2 inch off the crossover.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    std lokar 4l60e dipstick setup, and YES you can shorten the teflon dipstick section at the handle to the length you need.

    yes its a ********** to fill and read but it sits about 3-6" away from 1200* exhaust.

    to make the level reading easier you need to rough up the glossy extruded teflon dipstick with some scotchbrite/etc.

    the molded in crosshatch area is too glossy to hold a visible amount of fluid....
