Hey all! I have owned a couple of 3800 Bonnies, but am new to the GP scene. My daughter just bought her first car and during inspection I noticed two of the clips are missing for the air filter box. Can I get these new (just thought about this, will probably go to LKQ). Also, any recommendations for potential trouble spots to look out for?

BTW, it is an 01 GT

    Thanks everyone.

I would go to local junk yard, they would be cheap. Trouble spots, you have had bonnies, you should know engine ect.

There is a thread on here, it will tell you EVERYTHING to look for on these year pontiacs 97-03, its very helpful. Sometimes the car has HUGE problems you may not know about, strut tower rust ect, but your year is one of the newer years, so it should not be a problem. I couldn't fine the thread, but will post if i do.

Any questions,we are here to help we have lots of people that have done pretty much anything to these cars.

Rust on the rear strut towers, leaking LIM gaskets, warped intake plenum, rust on the rocker panels, yadda yadda yadda. Basically all the engine problems your Bonneville had and add rust to the equation. If you don't have rust, you're golden.
