I joined this site when I picked up a 2000 GTP for my daughter, I don't post but read a lot of threads to keep in the know and find helpful info on keeping the car going. Car recently developed a noise in the lower end(its done for). I posted a message to BillBoost37 as after reading so many posts I soon realized he is THE GUY, with some questions and to my surprise since he has a place in my town he offered to stop by and give me his opinion. What a great guy, with a ton of info and very knowledgeable to these cars. I even got a ride in his Regal(damn I wish my GXP shifted like that thing) . Don't know what we are going to do yet in regards to the motor but the advice Bill gave had some options either way. Just wanted to post, pass that along as I feel he went above and beyond to help out a board member who he didn't even know. Thank you

Happy to stop over, I always enjoy chatting with fellow car guys.

You know.. for a price, the GXP can shift that good or better. I am surprised you didn't tell everyone that I abuse my car. hahahahaha oh wait, I think I tell them most days.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Oh we will be talking again at some point about the GXP trans, but let me get the other car straight first. And yea, Bill isn't easy on that Regal. Gave the term drive it like ya stole it a new meaning. Had to check my shorts after he left
