Hi, can someone tell me specifically how to relieve fuel pressure so that I can safely lift the fuel pump out and change the fuel level sensor? I'm very beginner so please explain like I'm a 1st grader

Start it up, find the fuel pump relay in the under hood fusebox. The underside of the cover is labeled so you can find the correct relay. Pull it, and within a few seconds the engine will die when the fuel pressure is mostly relieved. The remaining low amount of pressure is not hazardous, just pull the lines and keep a rag near them.

Also make sure not to kink the nylon lines.

Okay cool thanks, I had heard of this method but then someone said the car wouldn't start if I pulled the relay. Lol I didn't put it together that if it was already started it wouldn't matter haha. Thanks again!
