    I have a 99 grand prix gt and we have done an l67 swap. we have changed everything that needed to be changed and it runs great, but when we hook a code scanner up to it, it wont read the codes it says unable to communicate with computer. all of my fuses are good everything is hooked up so what can it be?

    Double check the cig lighter fuse.

    Then start seeing if you have power at the OBD 2 port if that fuse is good.

    I have checked it and it was good I am getting power to the plug but it is not communicating with the computer it won't bring up any codes
