I just rented a Uhaul tow dolly to get my GP to the friend that's going to do some work on it. Then I thought about the width of my car... Has anyone towed theirs with one of these without issue?

All depends on exactly what one you rented....there's a 2 wheel and a flat bed,I personally recommend the flat bed it made my haul 100% easier and I only paid 85 dollars to rent it.
tow dollys work, ive had cars from the 70's on them. being the car is fwd tow dolly is perfect.
just dont try to back up with the car on it. never seems to work out well.
I would get a trailer it doesnt cost to much more then what the 2 wheel dolly goes for.
It isn't lowered and I did get the 2 wheel, we aren't going very far with it at all, but if we get it on there, and I think even once that it's gonna bottom, I'll go get the trailer.
Two wheels work fine.. just have a couple buddies around to watch the sides. I tow GP's and Regals all the time, heck even Bonnies. The bigger car.
Trailer is about double the cost of a dolly. It also depends on what you are using to tow. If the tow vehicle isn't heavy enough they won't even rent you the trailer.
As far as the width is concerned, there is no concern. My 3000GT's and Stealth's are wider than the Grand Prix and I never had any real issues getting them on a dolly. The only time I had any issue was putting my own Stealth on a dolly. It's lowered on coilovers and I had 9" wide wheels on it. Once I finally got it up on the dolly itself I had to let air out of the front tires to get it to sit in the troughs. Once strapped down though I had no issues towing it the 70 miles home.
Got it there, it did just fine on the tow dolly. Got the upper tore apart and decided I'm gonna have the upper intake and lower intake both replaced. And at the recommendation of you guys the coolant elbows
