Thread: Intro

Hi, my name is Jared and I am here in upstate ny. Acquired my new project, a 99 gtp sedan. A lot of work already done, ton of work still to do.
This isn't my first gtp, I lost one back in 05 from hurricane wilma.
kinda new to the ny area, moved here recently from alaska.
i was a mechanic for gm, now I work for myself.
I had good memories from my old gtp, hopefully more good one to come.

Welcome to GPF. How much do you charge for engine builds? And will you travel? LOL

my new GTP is rough, the po been having issues with his build so I picked it up cheap. I think the mechanic he had was screwing him but idk. But lot of the expensive parts are there, just need to all work together better. Plans are to get everything working and get it tuned better. From the receipts I have been going through looks like I got some generic tune.
