No, porting the LIM is completely pointless unless going for a intercooler set-up.

so what you guys are telling me is 2step is only for manual cars? then why is it that i know of about 3 turbo automatic mustangs that go nines explain that one to me. and i wasnt planning on just keeping everything stock beside the pulley im not stupid there would be supporting mods that go along with it ive asked on here before what the best way to go about the supporting mods but i got no response.
And to those of you that are trying to help be thanks and i appriciate it.
my first post wasnt in this thread in my first thread i was asking what suppoting mods would be helpful and which ones would be a waste of time.
and no i dont expect anyone of you to be nd readers. when i joined this forum i expected so help not a lot of smart asses.
Are you sure those mustangs don't have trans brakes?
and what supporting mods should i go with i have the autolite 104 spark plugs in right now the headers and down pipe a going on soon. with i have to get into the internals to go down to a 3.0 pulley or with stock bottom end eable to hold it. ive heard that a intercooler doe very well with these cars so i plan on doing that. im just trying to figure out what all ill need to do so i can figure out what kinda money im going to put into this car.
is because of this peice of **** wireless key board it doesnt pick up all the letters i type and i dont notice it until i post it
Stock bottom end will take whatever you throw at it. To run a 3.0 you need either E85, ic, cam, or meth.
FWIW, there are tons, I mean tons, of auto cars, with trans brakes, and 2 step. I actually just raced a turbo mustang yesterday, with a trans brake, and 2 step. The trans brake isn't to build power, its to hold the power. You can't expect the front tires/brakes to hold back a bunch of power (I'm talking rwd car), so the trans brake holds the power. The two step is to help set launch rpm and to build boost. Now, in this guys case, he wants 2 step because he thinks it would be cool, and to help set launch rpms. If he stalls to the full stall speed, he spins, if he stalls differently (not sure where) he doesn't spin, but is probably a little bit slower than what he would of been, had he launched petal to the floor already. Is it going to make a world of difference in his car? No probably not, stickier tires would probably help him more than anything else. But that's what he wants.
To the couple of nutsacks that dont think you can put 2step on an auto, you should probably put your helmets back on, and go sit in the corner.
what exactly is ic?
Short for I see. My girlfriend texts that all the time. I can't stand it.
