Hey all,
I currently have a poor MI-native Grand Prix that's just simply rusting away underneath me. The engine and trans are still good (3.8L NA), it's really just the rear of the car that's rotting out, but I've been on a hunt for a '97-'03 Grand Prix that needs an engine and has no rust.
For my main question, I found a 2001 Grand Prix GT online that hit a tree pretty squarely in the center of the front, and am wondering:
Would it be possible to exchange the junk radiator and the now horseshoe-shaped core support in the '01 GT with the radiator and core support from my not-wrecked '98 SE? Of course, other parts like the support struts, radiator hoses and the front bumper would have to be replaced, but we've got those parts on the SE, that is still drivable at the moment.
Thanks in advance! I look forward to communicating with you all!
