Thread: What do I use? Which product?

As some of you know my car has a sh!t load of swirls in it!! What product do you guys recommend? The turtle wax scratch remover? Exc...

I use majestic solutions finishing wax. Does a great job

I used meguires scratch x. Then buffing compound. Then polish. Then wax

If you don't have any equipment and plan on doing it by hand, and since you have a black car, you can look into Turtle Wax Black Box.

Clay bar before wax makes a night and day difference!!! My car as proof

Clay bar will get contaminates out of the paint.Then its time for polish plus a good wax,a good place to visit for detail related questions is Autopia.org

TNT ya I used plastidip, and I'm looking into doing my whole car artic white! So it's mutisurface and ya it's by hand not buyin a buffer buddy's dad has a paint shop so I can borrow his for now lol but for now by hand.

I'm going to try the black kit and I know to clay bar first lol I did some lastnight hell just it alone was a night and day difference lol

If you do plastidip make sure you use some kind of tire shine the black draws out the dirtiness of your tires

Here's the tire shine I used its a no wipe shine unless you want it to look matte

What else can I do a good buff? There's still scratchs!! Man it's gonna suck to do the whole car lol

I use a cheap $20 buffer and it does alright

porter cable orbital buffer, bast damn buffer made.

my paint was dead, i mean dead! i used turtle wax liquid compound, meguires swirl remover, and then some paste wax i had.

Nufinish scratch doctor is great for swirls and light scratches. Ive tried them all including mothers, meguiar's, and even 3m and it is by far the best I've used. Ive also heard great things about Adams scratch and swirl remover. Their stuff is all awesome but pretty pricey.
