At your age a truck isnt a wise move if you plan on going to college. It will cost too much for gas/ maintenance/ liscensing/ etc. To be honest its not worth spending money on accessories for any used car as most likely they will rust out on you anyway and cost too much to keep going. But thats all part of the fun. I would suggest having a reliable economy type car that would allow you to save up some money instead of putting it all in gas.
yeah i want a car for the mpg but 1- my mom wants me to get a truck so im safer and in a bigger vehicle 2- id use it all the time to go back in the woods and go huntin but right now the car is just a better choice. and im not going to put a ton of money in this car if i get it but im goin to make it cool because im goin to be drivin it for awhile so i want to like it. i want to lower it so it doesnt have such a wierd stance
Don't you just love opinions. Lol.
Anywho to the original OP get what you can afford and avoid a car note at all costs if you can. Me personally I would just get another gtp.
Have you actually got a insurance quote for a GTP or are you just assuming because they are SC? Seriously they're still well a good portion if then are 4 door cars which makes the insurance on one a bit cheaper. Pretty sure I paid like a extra $6 a month on mine because of the SC vs going the N/A route.
well no my dad keeps telling me that it will skyrocket but im pretty sure hes just saying that so i cant get a fast car, he thinks im goin to wreck it again. but noone is selling around here and i dontk now how much i trust craigslist
why dont you try looking at a few ion redlines...
get a slow car and make it fast, avoid car payments for mods i bought a 2000 cavalie in high school i buy wrecked cars and fix them, well i had a loan ... lost my job and lost my car NEVER drove it bought it in 04 and it had 32k... and sporty car that is four or two door is gonna run high on insurance. i agree with everyone else go back to gp. u know u liked it and u wont have to stress about trying to figure out what car you are gonna get so on and so forth..
I understand where you are coming from in wanting a truck. That was the origional route I was going to go. I really could use one for getting back in the woods and hauling my fishing stuff and the rowboat. Instead I use my car for all that. Every year I take it back in the woods and it gets full of mud and I always bang the underside of the car on stuff when it falls into ruts. It doesn't do too bad at hauling the rowboat either but Im sure its no picinic for the transmission. So far through what this car has been through it has been one heck of a car. Silverados are nice trucks as well. IMO
ive always wanted a truck but just couldnt afford a nice one, now that my car is dead and this truck showed up for a great price its perfect timing . and i dontk now if id do that to my car lol but im sure they can take it
