Well I just bought an 06 Grand Prix gt supercharged! Pretty excited to get some things going..ive been reading around on here for the last two weeks and just ordered some speed daddy headers, $220 shipped. Debated them or zzp power log and downpipe and chose them! Plans are to get a cone, 180 thermostat, colder plugs, 3.6 pulley and PCM along the road..always looking for advice and to learn. I've been sure to read the safely modding your 3800! and look forward to all the good info! Thanks

Thanks guys..where ats in MI. Im about 15 minutes north of detroit. And im waiting on confirmation for headers now, I ordered zzp flex, band clamps, the o2 harness, 9 k&n cone, al 605s and 180 thermostat. And got all that with the headers not even shipped yet..smh. lol but I was just looking up mpg the last hour or so on here and im getting only 15.4 mpg. I just bought the car about 2 weeks ago n its completely stock still. I guess ill try n do the plugs soon n get my brother (the mechanic in the family) to come check it out.

The only reason im asking is because it looks like everyones getting around 19-22 or so average in city if not more. I dont go on the highway too much n if I do its for a couple miles. Usually 35-45 mph roads. So maybe that is normal with all the stopping n going..?

I mean I dont think im being that heavy with my foot. Although I bought it from a high school kid so who knows the last maintenance on it. I was planning on doing everything on one day with all the ish I had just bought. Now when you say tune, do you mean dyno tune or drop in pcm? I was planning on overkill pcm rather than paying 250+ for a ride in tune?
