Sup guys and or gals. I bought a 99 grand prix gtp for a grocerie getter/family car. This is my first American car I've only ever owned Hondas. I'm here to learn about these cars and hope to have it for a long time.

Welcome, guy! Just get stock Delco iridiums.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Iridiums are the factory plugs and copper cores are what the modded guys use as they can be a colder plug for the added power.

Copper will only last 10-15k miles, but look at the conditions and the type of ignition system they are put through.

The delco plugs are made to last the longest and give the best performance for a stock vehicle.

If anyone says iridiums don't last, I'll stab them in the eye with one. Because that's what filthy liars get.
