So for the takes longer to start problem do u mean imthat the starter just cranks the engine but it doesn't fire up? Or when u turn the key it just clicks sometimes and doesn't start

Try swapping the battery. That sounds like either a weak battery or charger

3.1L just leave the stock mufflers on you won't make it sound any better.
