Was wondering if anyone can help here. I have a 1997 GTP Series II 3800. I bought the car used and someone had bypassed the fuel pump relay. There's one relay for the "fuel pump" that is connected and one relay that's for the "fuel pump motor speed control" which is missing. I hooked the wiring back up the way it's supposed to go. I tried turning the key to activate the fuel pump and got no response. Could the motor speed control relay be the problem? Thanx

if your fuse box relay looks like this pic. this is how to by pass the resistor. it is replaceable. pretty sure its inside the pass fender, by the battery.

So the #15 relay does not need to be plugged in, in order for the fuel pump to work? And if not, that would mean that I need a new #14 (the relay above the one in your picture) correct? I was wondering because whoever had my car before I bought it, had hard-wired the fuel pump straight to the fuse box in the glove compartment. I repaired that and wired the fuel pump correctly and it didn't work. I would like to know if i need both #14 and #15 relays connected to the system for it to function properly without a temporary bypass or just a new #14 that needs installed. Thank you very much for your help.
