I was wondering how many of these were manufactured by Pontiac. I have seen many different styles with various options, but i have not found any information regarding how many were manufactured like my car. Here is the some of the features my car has:
1. Boss System
2. Power Sunroof
3. Supercharged engine
4. Powered Leather Seats with Heat
5. The exterior color is Redfire Metallic
6. 2 door Coupe

I found This: DRod's GM FWD Performance and 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
They made Special Editions for the GTs and the GTPs so there's no way to truely determine

The article stated that you can tell what number your car is by the vin number. Do you know how to read this?

yeah my car was number 91913. However it still doesnt determine how many were made exactly like mine. This might be something i have to contact GM about.

Whats important about it?? or is it just for peace of mind that it may be somewhat rare?

Sounds just like mine. Same everything except for the special edition, window sticker says it's a wide body.

if its redfire its not a real special edition.
