Remove all the spark plugs, then see if it cranks over.

Starter go out? Did it die or just not start?

just died going down the road. now it wont crank

Check your wiring grounds. Kinda sounds like you locked it up.

ever changed the fuel pump resistor? if you have not read this article and repalce it with this relocation kit.
L67-equipped cars: My car starts and then stalls. Repair inside.

That isn't going to help at all if the car doesn't even crank over.^^^^
