    Hey im Dennis i have a 1997 gtp stock about 2 months ago i waz comin home for work and car shut down it overheated to the point to wear the car shut down by itself no lights came on or anything jst happened found out it has rough idle now and smokes white jst a little out of the tail pipes witch usualy mean blown head gasket right??? Any advice on wat i should do would help alot Thanks

    If anything you did some mechanical dammage to the car, maybe a cracked head or something along those lines. If any gasket I would look at your intake gaskets, check your oil does it look like milkshake?

    I replaced my intake gaskets after it happened and no it doesnt

    Typical head gasket issue. Check the oil does it look milky?

    Next guess would be a cracked head. Have you checked compression yet?

    Wen i did the compression test only a few were low like 100 to 105 the rest were at stock compression or still had good compression both of the bad were in the front of the motor
