Well went and looked at the regal. To start the cup holders messed up the frame, strut tower, and subframe all look perfect. All that was damaged it seems is the lower control arm and tie rod snapped plus 3/4 rims. Put money down for him to hold it at his request and going to pick up Tuesday. Come to find out the car has a ZZP 3.5" pulley, throttle body spacer, and use to have tuned PCM but he sold that and there's a stock one in its place. Going to grab the control arm and inner tie rod assembly from jy ($40 all together) and see if she drives straight down road. If so think I'm going to keep for a winter car. If not, parting it out. Either way zzp pulley is up for sale

was expecting a L67 swapped Jbody.
    coming from an ex-Z24 owner.

    what are you doing?
swapping all that regal goodness into a Jbody??

Didn't you say it was a zzp 3.5? Is it a mps or press on?

I think it was a 3.4. Also the pic looks like a press on.

Jerzcav- I was planning to steal the wiring harness for my cavalier to be obd2.

I think the pulley on the Buick may be the one where you can swap sizes. If that's the case I may be taking it and Puting on the cavalier. The previous owner of Buick says its a 3.5 and I currently have a 3.4 on the cavalier if that clears up anything

Do you have a mps? If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for the regal?

mps? I was going to list in classifieds but i cant so i assume i dont have enough post or time here or something? rules say "must have xx posts" but no actual number.

THe car will be in my driveway tuesday afternoon. I will then need to pull the wiring and gauge cluster from the car. After that all of its up for sale.

    replaceable pulley

pending time frame id really like to take the pulley off but i need to rent a puller. otherwise problems with car: something on passenger rear is bent cocking wheel out (sway bar?), guys leg hit the black surround for the dash which broke it. Getting factory radio with the car to best my knowledge. 3 out of 4 rims/tires are shot from accident.

Modular pulley system. The pulley on the regal is a mps. I'll buy it off you if you want to sell it. If you don't want to pull it off i'll buy the whole snout.

If no one wants the engine within a week of car being here I plan to order the pulley puller from zzp to pull off and throw stock on from jy on. If that's the case, I have a 3.4" for sale

IDK what you'd want for the engine but I'll be pretty local soon (about 20 minutes south of Elmira) and might need a spare.

129k on odometer. like i said ran great and heated up no problems. ill know more and get closer look once get home and put on lift. im not looking to get wealthy so whatever motor/trans would be worth itll go for.

unless i hear otherwise by next week i will be pulling the engine/trans with harness preparing to send the car to scrap yard and keeping whatever may have a market for.
