    Hi,
I have a 99 GTP with a few mods on it: TOG headers, 3" catless down pipe, 50/50 water/meth injection, 180 stat, cold plug, 3.25" pulley, ZZP PCM... stuff like that.
I plugged a scan to my car and ran the crap out of it. I saw very little KR; I mean here and there for like some fraction of a seconds then no more KR...
    The car runs pretty sweet.
I was wondering how much WHP I should have ?
I'm looking for a place to dyno it. When I know the number I will report here.

Another reason why I started this because I think if you mod your car. Then dyno it. Then share your numbers.
    Many people do that...
Eventually we'll have a databse that if we look close to it, we will know the fact of what mod really works and what kind of gain we should expect from it.
I read enough ads: this should give you 20HP that should give 15HP that should give you 40HP... really?
A HP is like what 750Watt. 10HP is 7500Watt. I don't think it very easy to gain 7500Watt...

Last, and the most important, I'm new here.
    I want to say hi.

    Tu.

Where the heck are your valvetrain mods? You're sacrificing valuable up top power.

    I say 260whp @ 5200rpm. -- get some valvetrain mods, even 1.9 rockers could be 270whp @ 5800rpm

    Thanks to the welcome.

Hmm.. I have the Yella something 1.8 but ...
Heard lots of people says I should be ok with the stock spring as long as my shift point is lower than 6K.
Heard lots of people say bad things about the stock spring at the same time.
I lean toward new spring. I don't mind spending a bit more money.
I have to open a bunch of stuff to do the rockers anyway.
I'm still reading to figure out what spring I should get.
    Then I will do that.

Stock springs are okay to 5800....but just okay.

L76 or LS6 springs would be better.
Maybe even some Crow 105# if you plan on a cam later.

    Sorry, I'm just too lazy.
To get the valve covers off, I need to take off coils, brackets, ... stuff like that.
That's what I mean by a bunch of stuff.
I need to get off my lazyness to make my car a bit faters soon

This is totally NOT the right section for this kind of pointless thread.

But i guess it IS a noob request.

    Serious guy?

Because unless you have before/after numbers, a dyno is pointless. its a tuning tool, nothing more, nothing less.

    Hey Nixon,
You mention the Crow. Is that the Crow Cams Valve spring like the one ZZP has here: Comp Cams - Comp Cams Valve Springs # ?

I'm looking at the Comps Cam #150 here: Comp Cams - Comp Cams Valve Springs # and the PAC here: PAC - PAC Valve Springs #PAC-VS
Which one between the two would go with?
Also, they have the titanium retainer: ZZPerformance - Modified Titanium Retainers #ZZ-772-12
Is that good or just a waste of money and I should get just the regular steel one?

Thank you much for your help.
