    2006 grand prix code po449 code will not clear with my scan gauge i have dropped the tank and dont know what to repkace??? need help do to phoenix az emissions test car runs fine and gets 30mpg car has 114,000 miles

    Code P0449

    Definition:
    EVAP (Evaporative Emission System) purge/vent solenoid circuit condition

    Probable Causes
    1- Purge or vent solenoids defective
    2- Check connector and wiring
    3- Fuel saturated vapor canister
    4- Failed EVAP vent solenoid
    5- Fuel Cap could be faulty.
    It's a CUMMINS Dodge not a Dodge Cummins
